Other Spiders

On this page I will add my photos of other interesting spiders I come across, some will be shots taken in 'the wild', and others will be of spiders briefly held captive so I can get some shots.

I found a Dunn's Peacock Spider, Maratus pavonis, yesterday in my garden and popped it in a small tank overnight so I could get some shots today. Luckily it decided to have a meal and I got the following photos. They are an incredible colour and put on an amazing courtship display, the females are a relatively dull brown compared to the males!
